Henkel, a leading manufacturer of popular consumer and industrial brands such as Dial® soap, all® laundry detergent, Schwarzkopf® hair care, Loctite®, Technomelt®, and Bonderite®, announced it has reached over 5,000 students in Stamford, Connecticut through its global STEM education initiative, Henkel Researchers’ World. The milestone was marked on Friday, November 8th, National STEM Day, with Stamford School District Superintendent Dr. Tamu Lucero, and local students at the Henkel Researchers’ World classroom at Mill River Park Collaborative in Stamford.

The three-part online series will premiere on Henkel’s YouTube channel– starting on National STEM Day, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. ET

Henkel launches its Researchers’ World program in North America this week, in partnership with Mill River Park Collaborative and Fairfield County‘s Community Foundation.

Getting children excited about science and awakening their researcher’s spirit – with this in mind, Henkel founded the “Forscherwelt” ‏(Researchers’ World) ten years ago. In April 2011, the first Forscherwelt vacation course was held at the Henkel site in Düsseldorf. Since then, around 62,000 elementary school children took part in Forscherwelt classes in a total of 13 countries. The joint motto: "being like a researcher".
